Curate your content with Collections. Combine content of any type into a group that can be featured on the content page to encourage users to browse by category or topic with one click. You can link directly to collection pages to drive members to content that is relevant to them. Create a collection of all the replays from your big event or all resources from your training academy from a specific month.
You may have been using Tags to group your content - and they’re still a great tool - but collections show on the content page as their own section with visual graphics cards to draw users to featured playlists with ease. Tags power content and recommendations while collections stand as curated playlists.
Getting started with collections
Add collaborators to empower community members to author their own content and events. Collaborators allows you to add others to help manage or create content and events. You can define specific permission levels and assign multiple roles to different members. Have peace of mind knowing that they will have their own personalized collaborator dashboard to access only the content or events you delegate to them. As the administrator, you can see and track who’s created each piece of content or event in the detailed lists on your dashboard.

Add or remove dashboard administrators
Dashboard administrators can now keep the agenda hidden from the front-end users until it is ready for release. Toggle the visibility of your event agenda ‘off’ to keep it hidden on the event detail page while it is in draft form - or ‘on’ when it is ready to be featured to your members.
Select and feature the group or person organizing or hosting each event. You can select the community (by default), specific individuals, or organizations to be the featured host(s) and their name(s) will populate on the event detail page for attendees and prospects to see, with organizations having the added benefit of linking out to their website.
This is a great way to promote sponsored events within Gradual as it provides visibility for your partners and their support of the community’s events.
Control attendees’ audio while on interactive calls (meetings & roundtables) with improved host capabilities. Hosts can mute all attendees upon entry or as a broad control while on the call. Hosts can control if attendees are able to unmute themselves or send a broad message to ask all attendees to unmute themselves.
These new audio controls provide hosts control over audio distractions during a presentation or encourage engagement over audio from participants during an interactive Q&A.
Choose which automated event emails Gradual can send on your behalf. Enable or disable event registration reminders, 24-hour or 30-min event reminders, or a new follow-up email that features a post-event survey link from your event dashboard.
If you have any sponsors for your event, their name, logo, and website will be featured at the base of the event detail page (on the frontend) for attendees to browse your partners and link to each organization’s website.
Information from your Gradual event can now be embedded in your iframe: event agenda, event speakers, and event sponsors.
Virtual backgrounds are now available in all interactive calls (meetings & roundtables). Participants can configure the backgrounds before joining the call or during the meeting from the settings icon.
Hosts can now record all interactive calls (meetings & roundtables) and easily access the files in their Gradual dashboard after the event.
On the front-end community homepage and content page, blogs, resources, and videos are now sorted, by default, as ‘Most Recent’ versus ‘Most Popular.’ This allows you to sort and shuffle the content you want to be promoted to the top of the list by manually setting the content publish dates on videos, resources and blogs.
Gradual now plays all videos directly from your video hosting service (YouTube, Vimeo, or Wistia), allowing for native video features like closed captioning, speed control, volume, etc. to be available to the end-user in Gradual. One of the biggest advantages is that all views on Gradual now count on the video hosting video, too!
The Overview page (home page) in your dashboard now shows Total Members (all members in your member list - including those that were bulk imported) and Activated Members (all members who have signed in). Learn more about your members and their activity by exporting a list of community members from the Members List tab.
