2024 August Product Feature Release
All the product features released in August of 2024
Featured Features
Club Updates
Earlier this year we launched Clubs, which allow you to create smaller groups within your community based on interest, persona, or geographic location. Clubs have continued to grow and expand, so we want to highlight all the clubs features available today!
Interest Groups
Interest groups are now live and provide you with endless opportunities to feature clubs and groups by topic, department, and more. They are not assigned a geographic location and can be customized to include content and other assets that apply to the club. Learn more about interest groups here.
Chapters
Chapters are the geographic clubs within your community. You can now customize the name and opt to have the chapter listed without an assigned location - a great option if you have multiple chapters in one city or location. The chapter map can now be hidden from the clubs’ homepage as well. Learn more about chapter settings here.
Club Collaborators
Empower your club leadership to manage your chapters and interest groups by granting them admin permissions to a limited clubs dashboard. There are three levels of access to choose from, so you can curate what settings and assets they can create or manage, and what data they can see within the clubs.
Learn more about club collaboration and access here.
Club Overview/Metrics Page
See and track club members, event and content creation activity, and club statistics from a new Club Overview page in the dashboard. Learn more about the data available on this page here.
Other Features
Forum Email Notifications
To drive engagement in the forum - members will now receive email notifications when there is activity on their forum posts! The platform will batch updates and send digest emails to members when there are new comments on their posts, or when there is a new reply to their comments. Members will continue to receive alerts on the platform when there are new reactions to their posts and can always modify their email alert frequency from within their ‘Notification Settings’ in the community.
Learn more about the email notifications here.
Event Moderator-Only Chat Mode
This feature can be turned on during livestream and hybrid events to limit event chat messaging to only moderators. Those assigned elevated moderator roles like chat moderator and event collaborator can switch the chat into moderator-only mode, live within the event, and continue to chat, while other attendees are blocked from entering messages. This is great if you want to control the messaging that’s shared in the chat thread and draw attention to the Q&A tab, or the presentation streaming.
Admin Activity Log
Major setting changes, additions, and customizations made by dashboard admins are now tracked in your community dashboard in Settings → Activity Log. This log helps admins see who made changes and when and also works to notify the main admin of activity that may require attention and approval.
Learn more about this activity log and what it tracks here.
Gradual Go App Updates
QR Scanning
Event attendees can scan other attendees’ QR codes from within the app or via their smartphone’s camera to access the members’ profiles or generate leads at an event. This feature is one of many engagement solutions within the Gradual Go app - learn more about the app here.
Notes on Profiles
Event attendees can now add quick notes to other attendees’ profiles from within the app. Document your conversations and reminders, and reference that note from their profile after the event has ended. This data can be exported after the event to share with sponsors or attendees.
Event app notifications
Send push notifications to your event attendees in the Gradual Go mobile app to spark interest in an upcoming session, remind them to schedule 1:1 networking meetings, or inform them of a change in the agenda. Build the notifications ahead of time in the event dashboard and send them in real-time during the event.
Space assignments are now included in event reports
Event reports in your dashboard now include attendees’ assigned spaces. This is helpful to see who registered, attended, or engaged in events from your assigned spaces. Reports that include space assignments are:
- Registered Attendees
- Logged In Attendees
- Chat History
- Q&A History
- 1:1 Match Report
- Checked-in attendees
- Scan Report
- In-person Meeting Report
Learn more about Event Reports here and spaces here.
Integration/Webhooks/API Updates

To see all the recent API or Webhook changes, please review our API and Webhook documentation. Note, these changes are also reflected in our Hubspot integration as well.
