Contribution Points & Rewards

Members can now earn points for contributions and redeem them for rewards. Fully customize your community’s contributions, badges, and redemption values to celebrate engagement and offer meaningful rewards.

Learn more about the points and rewards feature here

Points

Members can earn points for their contributions - either through tracked activity or from custom contributions you establish in your community. Learn more about how to set up point values and here.

Preset Contributions & Points

Points and badges can track activities like event participation, speaking, authoring content, or forum posts. Set point values and contributions will log automatically for these activities.

Custom Contributions & Points

Customize badges and contributions that apply to your community like ambassador or referral programs, and log when members make contributions and earn points for those custom activities and badges.

Rewards Center

Create a rewards center where contributors can redeem points for prizes, including physical, digital, or both. Set item point values and enable a storefront for loyal members to shop and claim valuable rewards. You can also restrict how many times a member can redeem a particular reward.

Check out the user's experience in redeeming contribution points for rewards here.

Contributor Pages and Leaderboards

Promote how members can earn badges and points on a contributor rules page, and feature those that are climbing the ranks in points and badges on a contribution leaderboard.

Contribution Leaderboard Page

Contributors are featured and ranked on a leaderboard, and profiles throughout the community showcase a member's badges and current lifetime accrued points. The contributor page appears as a main menu item, allowing visitors and members to see all contributors, ranked and organized by their badges or contributions.

Contributor Rules Page

Members can view the Contribution Rules page to explore badges, contributions, earning criteria, and assigned point values set by community admins.

Events

Upload event slides and presentations to the event landing page and agenda

If you have presentation slides (PDFs) that accompany an event and/or an agenda session within the event, you can now upload them for attendees to view, download and follow along. The slides can appear on the event landing page before, during, and/or event the event has ended, and can be nested in an agenda session for access during the live virtual event.

Learn more about event slides and presentation uploads here

Unlisted Events

If you would like an event to be published, but only accessible to members and registrants via a direct link, you can now set your event to be ‘unlisted’. Unlisted events will not appear on the front end in the event list, or via search, but their landing page and registration can be found via direct link. Registrants of unlisted events will receive all automated event emails like confirmation and reminders, and they will receive calendar invites if the Google Calendar integration is enabled in your community!

Learn more about this event setting here

Block attendees from dropping URLs in virtual event chat threads

You can now block attendees from dropping any URLs in the chat threads in virtual events. This setting can be turned on ahead of the event, or during the event if attendees are dropping too many URLs and it’s distracting or distruputing the chat thread.

Learn more about chat moderation in events here

Location filter on the People page in virtual events

Members can now filter other attendees by location within livestream and hybrid events from the People tab. They can search for others in their area and the system will filter the profiles based on those location questions.

Data and Reporting

Users’ Bios are now included in member exports

Member exports from the dashboard now include the users’ bios submitted during onboarding and profile completion. This column header is ‘User Bios’ and is found in the community-level member export, club-level member exports, and event attendee exports

Attendees’ ‘Notes’ are now included in Gradual Go (mobile app) scan reports

If you’re using the Gradual Go event mobile app, a great feature available to attendees is adding notes to other attendees’ profiles. Any text included in the ‘Notes’ feature is now included in the scan report export. Sponsors or partners often jot down notes on attendees during the event with this feature and those notes are then requested after the event so they can track and remember who they chatted with and the points associated with those interactions. Admins can generate this report from the dashboard and then share with sponsors, booth admins, and partners.

Other Updates

Clickable links in form questions

If a URL or link is included in profile questions and event registration forms, the system will now automatically make it a clickable URL. This applies to full URLs included in the title, subtitle, question, or question subtitle and any users who click on the link will be directed to that URL in a new tab. This is a great solution if you include agreement forms or terms and conditions that you want members to reference and agree to during onboarding or event registration forms.

Roundtable waiting rooms

Roundtables hosted at the community level or within a virtual event can now support lobbies or waiting rooms. These waiting rooms are enabled in the dashboard when building or editing the roundtable and would provide a lobby for attendees to wait in before assigned hosts allow them entry to the group discussion. This can be used for roundtable discussions where hosts want to see who’s interested in joining and approve and welcome only those who are allowed to join the conversation into the roundtable.
